June General Meeting: "Odes, The Dragonflies of Florida"

6/11/2014

Did you know that the larval stage of large dragonflies may last as long as five years? Dragonflies spend most of their lives in the larval stage in water as nymphs and spend only the last 5 - 6 months of their lifespans as winged creatures. No wonder they seem to enjoy flying so much and are so good at it! Come and learn more about these fascinating creatures that are counted as one of the fastest flying insects on earth.

Where:
New Location: Seminole Heights Public Library, 4711 Central Ave. Tampa (just south of Hillsborough Ave. and west of I-275, corner of W Osborne Ave.)
5:30 pm Growth Mgmt Committee
