Joint Suncoast and Tampa Bay Sierra Club Picnic and Bike Ride

Join the Suncoast and Tampa Bay Sierra Club groups in this annual joint cookout picnic and bike ride. This is a good way to meet fellow members and leaders and enjoy the great outdoors at this beautiful Pinellas County park.

Philippe Park, 2525 Philippe Parkway, Safety Harbor

Bike ride 10-11:30 am (meet at 9:45 am)

Picnic Noon-2 pm

Picnic site will be same as last year, on the left just past the Indian Mound (drive past the Indian Mound and Shelter 6 and look for Sierra Club signs). This is also the site for the start of the bike ride, which is an easy 14 miles round-trip on the Ream Wilson Trail traveling along the bay shore and on a paved trail bordering parks and natural habitat to the Long Center. There is one overpass.

If you prefer to just picnic, join us at noon. We'll provide hotdogs, hamburgers, soft drinks and you provide side dishes such as salads, snacks and desserts.
