Turtle Walk with Longboat Key’s Turtle Watch. 6:30 AM. 7/7/2012Join the daily early-morning search for new turtle nests and possible hatching of existing nests. We walk about two miles as our leaders share with us the latest ways that people are helping preserve loggerhead turtles. Several members of the Longboat Key Turtle Watch will guide the group and demonstrate how they check and document new nests. Join us for breakfast afterwards at the Blue Dolphin.
