TBARTA is currently in Phase Two of developing a master plan for regional transportation in the Tampa Bay area. Transit mode options that will be evaluated during this phase are bus rapid transit, commuter rail, light rail, managed lanes, and waterborne transit. They are asking for your input. We are invited to one of our Phase Two community workshops throughout the seven-county region of TBARTA (Citrus, Hernando, Hillsborough, Manatee, Pasco, Pinellas, and Sarasota). Each workshop will be held from 5:30pm to 7:30pm and is an opportunity for the public to provide comment on Phase Two of the TBARTA master plan. Members of the TBARTA staff will be on-hand to answer questions during the workshops.
If you are not able to attend one of the seven workshops, , two online workshops are being offered. The next will be held on Wednesday, August 6th, 2008 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. More: http://www.tbarta.com/?q=meetings/upcoming
During the online workshops, a live, moderated PowerPoint presentation will be given at the beginning of the meeting time and repeated one hour later. In addition, TBARTA representatives will answer questions and ask for ideas and comments from the online audience. Visitors will also be asked to complete a survey.
