EXCOM MEMBERS WANTED! 

The Nominating Committee (NOMCOM) of the Suncoast group is seeking candidates for election to the local Executive Committee (EXCOM) to fill five vacancies. The EXCOM is comprised of at least nine (9) members elected by the general membership of the group. Four positions are up for election for new 2 year terms. The EXCOM makes decisions about the direction of the Sierra Club group locally, sets conservation goals and policies, directs the publication of the newsletter and webpage, and oversees membership, outings, financial matters, monthly programs, and political involvement. If you are a member in good standing, and would like to volunteer your time as a member of the EXCOM, please contact Terrie Weeks at 345-2281 before October 1. All candidates will be asked to complete a short informational form. Any member seeking nomination and not chosen by the committee has the opportunity to run by petition.
