Dear Friends of Crescent Lake,
We have been organizing our volunteer dates to make them easier for you to remember. The new dates are scheduled on the last Saturday morning of the month - easy to schedule. The first one is this Saturday! 
We will continue maintaining our plants, starting and transplanting new plants, building platform floats for the turtles, and adding educational information.

 
VOLUNTEER DAYS FOR 2009  - USUALLY THE LAST SATURDAY OF THE MONTH, 9:00 - 12:00, EXCEPT FOR THE FOLLOWING DATES.

                   NOVEMBER 21 (DUE TO THANKSGIVING)

                  DECEMBER 19 (DUE TO CHRISTMAS)

NEW Dec. 10. Over 150 students will be working at Crescent Lake, on 12/10 as part of the Environmental Science Program at Lakewood High.  Adult chaperones are needed to ensure a safe and successful event.  The Field Day begins at 7:30 am and continues to noon. Chaperone duties will be assigned based on interest and guidance will be provided from school staff attending the event.
