We walked about 9 miles for about 4 hours. Weather was toasty and not
much shade during this hike but was very enjoyable. It was an
exploratory hike so there were a lot of map gazing and GPS checking
during the hike.We were able to find some shade and took a nice lunch
break half way through the hike. There were a few places we could go
down to the Myakka River and had a photo shoot there.  [Photos and text by Sue Bunge]
