The following information is from the monthly meeting of the Audubon photography club at Lettuce Lake last week.
The "mulberry tree" behind the ranger's house in Ft. DeSoto is a big migratory bird site. Particularly the day following a cold front. The birds "fallout" there.
There's a bald eagle nesting at the Royal palms cemetery in St. Pete at 58st and 1 Ave S. Someone mentioned that the nest is on a branch that overhangs the pinellas trail?
