We'll kayak in beautiful salt marsh and wooded areas. Bring PFD, whistle, snack, water, bug spray, sunscreen, hat. You must wear your PFD. We'll meet at the Favor Dykes State Forest boat ramp at 9:00 sharp.
Take I-95 south to exit #298. Turn left on US 1 and go about 1/4 mile. Turn right on Favor Dykes Rd and follow it into park. Continue and follow signs to the boat ramp.
Park entrance fee: $3.00. Canoe and tandem kayak rental available; call 904-797-0997 by 7/25 to reserve. You must RSVP on Meetup or to Outing Leader Bill Armstrong at armsfam@yahoo.com or 904-880-7702.
