Great for photographers, birders and adventurers alike! We’ll spend 2-3 hours on Guana Lake seeing what wildlife we can spot. On recent trips we’ve seen deer, feral hogs, an eagle’s nest with young eagles, turtles and lots of wading birds! Bring PFD, whistle, water, snack, sun screen, bug spray. YOU MUST WEAR YOUR PFD AT ALL TIMES DURING THE PADDLE. Please have all your gear unloaded by 8AM; we’ll be on the water by 8:15.
6-Mile Landing is on the west side of A1A, approximately 11 miles south of Butler Blvd. There is a big sign at the entrance. Please note: This is 6 miles north of the main entrance to Guana (GTM NERR). No kids. No fees. You must RSVP to Outings Leader, Sharon Sugden, sharonsugden@att.net.
