July 29 to Aug. 4. Seven day Chapter Fund Raising Canoe Trip that will retrace the route and learn about the Lewis and Clark expedition on the Upper Missouri River in Montana. Camp on, or near the campsites of the explorers. Trip is approximately 150 miles through the designated Wilderness Section of the river. Trip is rated moderate to strenuous, depending on weather conditions.
Prior extensive canoeing and primitive camping experience is required. The cost is $695 which includes canoe rental with paddles, PFDs, 2 dry bags per canoe, 5 gallon water container, all transportation. Does not include airfare, food and any hotel stays.
