Tom Larson, our group chairman received a leadership award from the Florida Chapter of Sierra Club. The Pine Tree Award was given to Tom for his consistent work to bring Sierrans together, to make working relations comfortable, and to get the job done. Tom’s efforts in promoting Cool Cities as well as his continuous promotion of the Sierra Club philosophy in Northeast Florida makes him very deserving of this honor.

... and currently in 2009, Tom continues to work diligently as Chair of Northeast Florida Group and serves on the Florida Chapter Steering Committee.
