Four-Mile Hike at Little Talbot Island State Park

Oct 20, 2012
10:00 am

"A favorite Sierra hike."

We’ll meet in the parking lot near the boardwalk that is just past the Ranger Station entrance. We’ll start with a short ranger talk and then walk about two miles north behind the dunes through a maritime forest.  Our return takes us along a beautiful stretch of open beach. Children welcome. Bring water, snacks, hat, suntan lotion, and insect repellant. We can picnic near the parking lot. Entrance fee: $5 per vehicle.

In case of heavy rain, the hike will be cancelled.  RSVP on Meetup.com or to June at Mirandamanning@aol.com.

Email June if you would like to carpool from Mandarin. Directions and map available at http://www.floridastateparks.org/littletalbotisland.
