Jacksonville Program - Celebration of Estuaries!

Social time 6:30 - 7:00. Program begins at 7:00.

Details:

An estuary is a part of a river or other area of water where it joins the sea. We will celebrate National Estuaries Day by hosting Dr. Quinton White, Executive Director of the Marine Research Institute at Jacksonville University, who will speak about the importance of estuaries and specifically, the challenges of our St Johns River and its estuarine system.

Dr. White was a founding member of the St. Johns Riverkeeper and has studied the River for over 30 years.

Light refreshments provided.  Bring your own cup.
