Outing
Marineland EcoTour with Ripple Effect EcoTours

When:

Aug 19, 2012
9:30 a.m.

Details:

This continues our professionally guided kayak tour series geared toward novice paddlers.  Great tour for paddlers of all skill levels! Minimum number of paddlers is 9; maximum is 16.

We'll launch from the Ripple Effect office on the Matanzas River into a rich estuary where the Matanzas Inlet collides with Pellicer Creek, one of the most pristine streams in Florida.  The tides will be optimal for exploring various lagoons and creeks.  Fabulous opportunity to see wildlife.  Sierra Club discount price of $45 includes: naturalist guide, kayak, all equipment.  Also included basic kayak safety and technique lesson. Bring water, snack, sunscreen and bugspray.  Outing organizer: Sharon Sugden.

Meet at the Ripple Effect EcoTours office, on the west side of A1A, at the marina in the Town of Marineland.  Directions: 18 miles south of St. Augustine on A1A, directly across from Marineland Dolphin Adventure.  Drive back about 200 yards and you'll see the office on the right (north) side of the marina basin.

Call Ripple Effect at 904-347-1565 for reservations and payments.  Tell them you are with the Sierra Club group.
