This documentary film follows the varied life of John Muir. He was one of the founders of the Sierra Club in 1892 and served as its first President. In addition to being an environmental activist, he was also an inventor, geologist, farmer, naturalist, lecturer, and writer. His writings and actions led to the creation of such national parks as Yosemite, Sequoia, Rainier, and the Grand Canyon. The film runs for 87 minutes so we will start the screening at 6:05 p.m. sharp.
