Beach Cleanup at Guana

Details:

In honor of National Volunteer Week and Global Youth Service Day, the Guana Matanzas National Estuarine Research Reserve (GTM Research Reserve) will host a short presentation on the effects of marine debris in our coastal environments to be followed by a beach cleanup. The Sierra Club will join this effort. Bring gloves, water, suntan lotion, and insect repellant.

NEAR: Ponte Vedra Beach, FL

We’ll meet at the entrance to the GTM Research Reserve Environmental Education Center located at 505 Guana River Road, Ponte Vedra Beach, on the west side of A1A approximately 17 miles south of Butler Boulevard. The entrance is just north of the Gate service station on A1A.
