Meeting
Ponte Vedra Monthly Program - Cary State Forest: “A Closer Look”

When:

Apr 3, 2012
6:00 p.m.

Details:

Sierra Club and Florida Native Plant Society members Faith and George Barbour will present a collection of macro and telephoto pictures they have taken of the plants and wildlife at Cary State Forest (about 10 miles north of Baldwin, off U.S. 301).  They have been enjoying nature photography for the last 28 years, and are currently working with the Division of Forestry as volunteers documenting the “flora and fauna” of Cary State Forest, among other projects.  They have both completed the Florida Master Naturalist program offered by UF.  Their goal is to encourage people to learn more about the plants and animals in our natural world, so as to better enjoy and protect these areas.
