Visit Olustee Battlefield Historical State Park

When:

Mar 24, 2012
11:00 a.m.

Details:

Join us for a leisurely one-mile hike along the Olustee Battlefield Heritage Trail, near Lake City. We will walk through pine flatwoods and scrub flatwoods, pausing occasionally to read historical trail markers or observe a red-cockaded woodpecker.

After the hike, those interested can tour the “interpretive center” (visitors’ center) and watch a video on the Civil War.

We will meet at 11:00 a. m. at the interpretive center. Children and leashed dogs are welcome.
