Hike Guana Wildlife Management Area

Details:

We will have a leisurely hike of about 5 miles in the Guana Wildlife Management area, enjoying an array of vistas spanning marsh, river, and forest.  Meet at 10:00 a.m. at the Guana trailhead, located about 200 yards beyond Guana Dam. Limit of 25 participants. Bring lunch, water, sun tan lotion, and insect repellent. Children are welcome. No pets please. There is a $3 entrance fee if you do not have a parking pass.

Directions:

NEAR: Ponte Vedra Beach

The entrance to Guana Tolomato Matanzas National Estuarine Research Reserve is on the west side of A1A, approximately 17 miles south of Butler Boulevard. The entrance is just north of the Gate service station on A1A.
