Ponte Vedra Monthly Program - John Muir; The New World

This documentary film follows the varied life of John Muir. He was one of the founders of the Sierra Club in 1892 and served as its first President. In addition to being an environmental activist, he was also an inventor, geologist, farmer, naturalist, lecturer, and writer. His writings and actions led to the creation of such national parks as Yosemite, Sequoia, Rainier, and the Grand Canyon.
The film runs for 87 minutes so we will start the screening at 5.45 p.m. sharp.
Everyone is welcome (including children). Snacks will be provided, but please bring your own drinks.

The program will be held in the main meeting room of the Ponte Vedra Beach Public Library on Library Road at A1A (blinking light south of the intersection of A1A and Solana Road, on A1A about two miles south of Butler Boulevard).
