Visit DeLeon Springs State Park

Jul 30, 2011
Saturday at 9:30 a.m.

There’s lots to do and see at delightful DeLeon Springs State Park!

For those who want to take a 50 minute nature cruise, the charge is $14.00.

For those who want to enjoy this spring's famous pancakes, all you can eat for $5.00 (There are other things on the menu).

For those who are inquisitive, there is a museum outlining the interesting history of this spring and there are some intriguing ruins of the old sugar plantation.

After hiking the nature trail, we will take the cruise at 11 and lunch at 12 or 1.

There is also canoeing, kayaking, swimming, and snorkeling.

An RSVP is necessary for this trip. It is essential that you indicate whether you want to take the cruise and/or have lunch at the restaurant.

There is a charge of $6.00 a car.  Enter the park, park in the parking lot, and then meet me (with a clipboard). If you don't see me before you walk up to the spring, then look for a yellow blanket.  Bring lunch if not dining in the restaurant.
