Manatee viewing & hiking

Saturday 9:30 a.m. at the park

Details:

Enjoy watching the West Indian Manatee in their winter home at Blue Springs and then take the ferry to Hontoon Island (small fee) for a three-mile hike.

Carpool leaves Avenues Mall on the upper level in front of Belk promptly at 7:30; look for a blue Honda hybrid.

Please bring lunch.   RSVP on Meetup or with Shelly, June Weltman is the assistant leader.

Directions:

We will meet at the lower parking lot at Blue Spring  - the one past the concession area. It is necessary to arrive by 9:30 a.m. as the park closes, once full (although people are let in as people leave).
