9th Annual John Muir Family Walk

This outing honors the first president and co-founder of the Sierra Club, John Muir, who travelled across north Florida, passing this site, on his way to destiny. The John Muir story--inspiration for Sierra Club members and leaders nationwide!

Meet at the John Muir Ecological Park for the anniversary of John Muir's famous 1867 walk at this site.  From there we will carpool 15 minutes to the private White Oak Plantation for a 3-mile forest walk and picnic on the St. Mary's River. Bring bag lunch & beverage. Children welcome. No fee.  50 participant limit.

Directions:
