Kids & Family Outing: Jacksonville Arboretum

When:

Oct 9, 2010
Saturday 10:00 a.m.

Details:

Join us for a family outing. Bring your children to plant some bald cypress trees that they will be able to revisit throughout their lifetime.  We will learn about the bald cypress tree and its importance to this area, then go on a short easy hike within the 120-acre Arboretum. Bring water and a snack if you wish. All are welcome, but no pets please. Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult. It is not required, but if you wish, the Arboretum is accepting donations of flowering trees or cypress trees.
