Family Outing: Castaway Island

Details:

The Northeast Florida Group combats Nature Deficit Disorder   by kicking off its first Family Outing at Castaway Island!

Designed for kids, this family outing includes leaf identification and rubbings along with a short hike led by Jean Schubert of the City of Jacksonville's Parks and Recreation Department. Jean will also tell us about different mammals that live at the Island.

Bring water and a snack if you wish. No pets please.  All ages are welcome, this is a nice place for grandparents also. Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
