Hiking in Guana

How about a weekday hike?

We’ll hike for about five or six miles on scenic trails with views of the Tolomato River, marshes and forests at the Guana Tolomato Matanzas National Estuarine Reserve in South Ponte Vedra.  There is a $3 entrance fee to Guana if you don’t have a pass. There is no need to make reservations. Please bring lunch if you can stay for lunch. No pets please.

Directions:

On the west side of AIA approximately 17 miles south of Butler Boulevard, just north of the Gate service station on AIA is the entrance to Guana (Guana Tolomato Matanzas National Estuarine Reserve).   The trail head is about 200 yards beyond the dam.
