Kayak / Canoe Peters Creek

Feb 27, 2010
Saturday 10:00 a.m.

Let’s try again and hope there’s no rain!  Join us on a beautiful, leisurely paddle up Peters Creek in Green Cove Springs to see the swamp/wetland banks, birds, and other wildlife. The paddle will take about 3 hours. We can go to a great fish camp restaurant in Green Cove Springs after our paddle.

We'll park and put in at Camp Chowenwaw, a wonderful camp area on Black Creek. We'll paddle up Black Creek for a short way, then turn left into Peters Creek.

No rentals are available - bring your own canoe or kayak. Also bring water, sun block, and clothes appropriate for the weather. You must have a personal flotation device and a whistle.

RSVP by February 25th,  via Meetup  or contact Bill
