Social Gathering
Winter Solstice Celebration

When:

Dec 20, 2009
Sunday 3:00 - 6:00 p.m.

Details:

Join us for a gathering and camp fire on Atlantic Beach!

Celebrate the return of light. Reflect on the past year, give thanks for 2009 successes in defending and preserving our local environment, our country, and world. Consider the coming year and ways to explore, enjoy and protect our planet. Then walk, sing, sundance, polar bear plunge, cook on the fire - you decide how to spend the rest of the afternoon.

In case of rain at 3 p.m., show up at Sun Dog, at First & Atlantic Blvd, Neptune Beach and we'll still celebrate Solstice!

Dress for the weather. Children, adults, and good dogs on leash are welcomed. S'mores & fire wood provided. Donations accepted for fire permit.
