Bayard Conservation Area Hike

Details:

Get to know this beautiful, upland pine area and its multiple trails, natural settings, and unspoiled St. Johns River banks. We'll hike about 5 miles on wide, flat trails and have a snack along the St. Johns River.  Please bring water, snack, sun tan lotion, and bug repellent.

Meet at 9 a.m. at the trailhead for the Bayard Conservation Area, also known as the John P. Hall, Sr. Nature Preserve.

For carpooling, meet at the Fresh Market parking lot at the corner of San Jose Blvd and Julington Creek Road in Mandarin at 8:00 a.m. sharp.

NEAR: Green Cove Springs

The parking for the trailhead is 0.6 miles west of the west side of the Shands Bridge (south of Green Cove Springs) on the south side of the road.
