John Muir Family Walk

When:

Oct 10, 2009
10:00 a.m.

Details:

This event celebrates the visit to this area in October 1867 by Mr. John Muir, America’s most famous naturalist and the person who inspired the creation of our National Parks.

The John Muir Family Walk is a gentle 3-4 mile walk, open to adults, children, and leashed pets.

We will meet in Yulee at the John Muir Ecological Park at 10:00 AM, view the historical plaque describing Muir's 1867 visit, and then drive in our own cars to walk and picnic at the Egan’s Creek Greenway on Amelia Island.

We will adjourn by 2pm. Bring a bag lunch, beverage, hat and sunscreen.
