Hike the Suwannee and Visit White Springs

Sep 19, 2009
Saturday 9:00am

We'll join the North Florida Trailblazers on a 5 mile hike along the Big Shoals area of the Suwannee River, then tour the Nature & Heritage Tourism Center in White Springs and have a wonderful country-style lunch at the historic 100-year old Tilford Hotel. For the hike, bring water, snack, comfortable shoes, cool clothing, hat, bug spray. A walking stick is a good idea as the trail has some ups and downs. There is a $4.00 entrance fee per car for the hike (We’ll carpool from the Tourism Center). Lunch is about $10.00.

RSVP REQUIRED by Sep. 17 - RSVP on Meetup or contact Outings Leader Bill Armstrong
