Green Health Care embodies the environment its relation to health, wellness and prevention strategies as first line treatment options, and the incorporation of nature into medical practice. Green Health Care ensures that the practice of medicine takes place in a green environment with the principles of ecologically sustainable medicine. Ultimately, the current state of medicine should strive to reduce its ecological footprint and provide health solutions that are non-toxic to the earth and to people.
Dr. Brandi Reddick received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree magna cum laude from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University in Tallahassee, Florida. She completed a residency in the specialized field of managed care pharmacy practice to gain training in the unique field of managed care pharmacy practice and pharmacoeconomics. Dr. Reddick was former Clinical Pharmacy Director for a managed care organization and past assistant professor for Florida A&M University. Dr. Reddick's interest in integrative medicine, natural health and wellness led her to start the company "The Green Pharmacist LLC." She will focus her practice on Green Health Care to help shift the current state of conventional medicine to an ecologically sustainable model. She is a graduate of the Teleosis Leadership program in Environmentally Sustainable Medicine which is the only program that exists to train health professionals as environmental leaders.
