"The Vision of Charles Bennett: The Timucuan Preserve"
Speaker: Doug Milne, Esq. Mr. Milne gave the eulogy for Congressman Bennett at this funeral in 2003.
Co-sponsors: The Public Trust Environmental Legal Institute, Preservation Project North Florida, U.S. National Park Service, The Nature Conservancy, Sierra Club, Jacksonville Historical Society, Florida State Parks, Talbot Islands State Parks, North Florida Land Trust.
The goal of this lecture series is to help our community establish a "sense of place" which we will be proud of and cherish.
Doug Milne is an excellent and entertaining speaker who knew Charlie Bennett as well as anyone. On display will be beautiful photographs of the Timucuan Preserve to set the scene.
