Meeting
General Program, Jacksonville: Habijax ReStore

When:

Apr 13, 2009
Monday 7:00 - 9:00 pm

Details:

Lower your Carbon Footprint to celebrate EaRth Day by doing the environmental three R’s - Reduce, Reuse, Recycle!

How can you affect the most change? Chris Folds of Habijax will tell us about Habijax ReStore - a homen improvement retail outlet where you can donate used appliances, cabinets, carpeting, hardware, tools etc. for resale with the proceeds going toward HabiJax. Since 1988 Habitat for Humanity in Jacksonville has built more than 1500 affordable homes and has become nationally recognized as a partner and catalyst for creating safe and sustainable communities.

Also, Jack from Recycling E-Scrap, will share with us how to make sure old electronic gear is safely recycled. Bring your electronic trash for e-waste collection to this meeting!

Of course, please remember to bring your own cup to reduce the Club’s waste stream!
