Details:
Julie Wright will discuss the culture of the Sherpas, geology, high altitude illnesses and physiology, and other interesting aspects of the Himalayas.
Julie has a Master's Degree in Environmental Education and Science. She was a Peace Corps Volunteer in the Dominican Republic and has twice traveled to the Himalayas for study and on a spiritual journey. She is the Senior Center Coordinator at THE PLAYERS Community Senior Center.
