Historic and Natural Tour of Cumberland Island

7:30 a.m. departure; return at either 11 a.m. or 4:45 p.m.
Details:
Go on a half or a whole day tour from St. Mary’s Georgia via ferry and easy walking. Learn about the Carnegie family’s impact on the island and enjoy the abundant wildlife. We will gather at various points of departure from Jacksonville at approx 7:30 a.m. to arrive at St. Mary’s before the 9:00 a.m. ferry ride. You may return at 11:00 a.m or 4:45 p.m. from Cumberland.
Cumberland Island fees are a total of $21 for adults $16.00 Child [12 and under], $19.00 Senior [65 and over]. As always, bring lunch, water, and bug spray, camera and rain gear if it looks like rain. The walking is easy, suitable for all ages, children are welcome.
Make your reservations by calling Cumberland Island Nationall Seashore at (877) 860 6787. Reservations submitted after November 7th do not need to be prepaid. After making reservations call a hiking leader either Janet Stanko at 880-1813 or Bill Armstrong at 880-7702 to advise us you will be participating, and whether you will need carpool assistance.
