Hiking the beautiful UNF Nature Preserve

When:

Jun 21, 2008

Details:

Take a three-mile hike through the various ecological systems along the trails at the UNF Nature Area.  Learn about Florida’s wildlife and ecology and become familiar with this wonderful hiking resource right in the middle of our community.  We’ll walk along easy trails that are well-shaded from the sun. Children are welcome.

Meet at 9 a.m. in the parking lot of the Parking Pass Building near the west entrance to UNF (near St. Johns Bluff Rd and 9A).  No parking passes are required on the weekends.  No reservations are necessary.  Bring water and insect repellant.  Bring lunch if you wish as there is a nice picnic area near the lake.  Leader: Bill Armstrong
