Vote YES on Amendment 1! Florida's Land and Water Legacy Campaign

Get voting info here!

Passing this amendment would set aside funding  for the protection and conservation of our parks, beaches and undeveloped land around Florida.  In 2015, this would provide more than 600 million dollars to environmental causes across the state.
"The power to protect Florida's land and water for future generations is in your hands."

See the Ron Littlepage column here.

We are only a few weeks away from the big election!

 Kill More Billboards!

The 1987 charter amendment placed on the ballot, and overwhelmingly passed by voters in Jacksonville that phases out billboards in Jacksonville is threatened by a billboard industry sponsored bill--2013-493.

Jacksonville doesn't need more billboards in more places!

This legislation is beginning to move fast through City Council committees on its way to the full Council for vote. It is very important to tell our City Council members to kill this bill.

The paid lobbyists and lawyers for Clear Channel and CBS Outdoor have had their say--they've been lobbying and working for over a year to get this bill passed.

Voice your opposition by visiting Scenic Advocates Jax. With just one click you can send a message to all 19 City Council members showing your opposition.  Ask them to KILL the BILL.
