All participants on Sierra Club outings are required to sign a standard liability waiver. If you would like to read the liability waiver before you choose to participate on an outing, please go to www.sierraclub.org/outings/chapter/forms, or contact the Outings Department at (415) 977-5528 for a printed version.

Volunteers staff our outings program. Our trip leaders plan and work hard to make each trip a success.  If you are interested in a trip, come to the sign-up table at the general meetings, or call the trip leader and ask for details.

Reservations open at the general meeting two months in advance of the trip. A non-refundable deposit must accompany all reservations. Make all checks payable to the Loxahatchee Sierra Club. Please write the name and date of the trip and your phone number on your check.

Trip fees of $20 or less are to be paid in full with your reservation. If the trip fee is greater than $20, a $20 deposit is required. No deposit is required for the waiting list. Full payment is due 30 days in advance of the trip.  If the final payment is not received, you will be removed from the trip and your space given to someone on the waiting list. Please send all payments to the trip leader.

If you must cancel, call the leader as early as possible. If you cancel more than 7 days in advance, all fees may be applied to another trip, but a cash refund will not be given. If you cancel less than 7 days in advance, you will forfeit all fees unless your reservation can be filled from the waiting list.
