Welcome to the Loxahatchee Group, serving Sierra Club members in southeast Florida's Palm Beach, Martin, St. Lucie and Okeechobee counties. We are one of seventeen local groups in the Florida Chapter of the Sierra Club, the nation's most effective volunteer environmental organization.

The 3,000-member Loxahatchee Group offers members - and prospective members - a variety of ways to get involved and become active environmentalists. Please take advantage of these opportunities today!

EVENTS

Attend our outings (kayaking, hiking, canoeing, camping, snorkeling, etc...); participate in executive committee meetings (help make Group decisions and do some networking); find out about membership meetings (educational sessions and informal socializing); and much more!

CONSERVATION

Saving the earth is our priority. Here in southeast Florida we are at the forefront of critical issues like wetlands preservation. We occasionally ask our members to join in letter-writing or calling campaigns for particular conservation initiatives - please do what you can to help!
