Florida Hometown Democracy Action Needed

Sierra Florida has endorsed the proposed Florida Hometown Democracy (FHD) amendment to the state constitution.  The amendment would add an extra step to amending local government Comprehensive Plans -- the citizens would be allowed to vote on the changes.  For a brief explanation of FHD, visit www.floridahometowndemocracy.com

Before this amendment can be put on the ballot, more petitions need to be collected. Will YOU collect 5 more petitions in YOUR neighborhood? Please DO!

Petition gathering continues, for maybe two more weeks and that's it! PLEASE download the petition and get at least 4 or 5 more petitions signed in YOUR neighborhood. If we all do this, we'll put on the November ballot the chance for voters to SAVE THEIR COMMUNITIES FROM MORE SPRAWL.

Only a couple thousand to go, and we've been asked to help get it done. Let's do it!
