* Serve on the Conservation Committee. Current issues include: Saving Apalachicola Bay, Leon County planning, Lake Protection Zones, Preserving Black Bear Habitat, addressing development issues on St. George Island, and CARL purchases. Contact Gary Lloyd at 385-3414 for more information.
* Serve on the Political Committee. Play an active role in the election process. Interview candidates and communicate with elected officials on environmental issues. Contact Dan Hendrickson at 915-0580 for more information.
* Be a State Legislative Volunteer. Duties include lobbying & working on statewide legislative issues. Contact Susie Caplowe at 915-0580 for more information, or send email to: susiecaplowe@comcast.net
* Be an Educational Exhibitor . Represent the Club at environmental events and setup our exhibit. Hand out materials and answer questions about environmental issues. Estimated time involved: 2-4 hours each event. Contact Linda Jamison at 350-3525 for more information.
* Be an Outings Leader (must be willing to become CPR/first aid
certified). Plan
and lead hikes, canoe trips, etc. Contact Kathy Criscola at 878-2270.
