Most ICO leaders and volunteers are professionals from the age of 21 years and up, enjoy working with youth, have an adventurous spirit, and enjoy just relaxing and watching for wildlife or a sunset. Volunteers can participate in the ICO program in many ways. Obviously the most enjoyable is to assist with the outings and mentor children. However, we also need volunteers who may be able to help with administrative tasks, like fund raising, publicity, teaching environmental education to both the adult volunteers and children, secretarial duties, equipment upkeep and finances. The vital role played by volunteers cannot be overemphasized. ICO has no paid staff. Steps to becoming a volunteer
Inner City Outings Monthly meetings are typically held the second Monday of every month at the Atlanta Bread Company (6PM - 7PM) at the corner of San Jose Blvd and University Blvd, Jacksonville - Florida.
